“Awakening stillness, vitality, and coherence—through the arts of Qigong and Neigong for everyone.”

Jose Ignacio Gonzalez

I’m a Qigong practitioner and instructor blending years of training across traditions with a polymathic approach to breath, energy, and movement. Rooted in martial and healing lineages—but made for every body—I offer Qigong as a gentle yet powerful path to coherence, vitality, and inner clarity. My Mission?Share the Internal Arts to help people center, align, and embody the stillness within—because a new world of splendor is available for all and it begins in the body, not just the mind.

About Jose Ignacio & his Mission

My Mission is to awaken in everyone I connect with the curiosity and the practical tools to become more centered, more coherent, and to at least taste the stillness that lives within them. The world can no longer wait for each of us to meet our truest self and join in building a society of splendor for all.More than ever in history, we have both the consciousness and the resources to create a win–win reality for every living being on this planet. But to bring this vision into form, we must hold its frequency tangibly in our bodies. This is not an intellectual exercise—it is somatic. And the Internal Arts are the pathways that systematically make this possible.About Jose Ignacio’s Path in the Internal ArtsMy path in the Internal Arts is based on years of deep, immersive training under the guidance of a diverse range of teachers and traditions. My journey has taken me across disciplines and continents, weaving together the rooted strength of martial arts with the fluid intelligence of internal cultivation. It started in my native Venezuela with my first teacher, Tulasi Charam Das. He started me in the path of martial and medical Qigong, spirituality and mysticism. As I then moved to the United States this was marvelously deepened and expanded by Michael Winn who clarified the path of Daoism for me. My Chinese internal martial arts training continued directly with the World Taiji Boxing Association head instructors Eli Montaigue and Nasser Butt. Then Dr. Steven Jackowicz and Dr. Andrew Nugent-Head appeared and they brought everything to a whole other level of clarity and skill for me both from very different lenses but always shining through the most precise and elegant truth. As things got tougher and chaotic two higher octaves became available: Sadhguru, who cracked open the intellectual cage I was trapped in; and Bashar, who stabilized all that I had learned so far.Along the way I had the greatest joy and luck to have crossed paths with many other powerful and honorable true Masters such as Robert Peng, Zhang Yuanming and Fukui Yang. And I also count here my friends Rafael Nasser, Tim Klemt and Allen Horowitz who had taught me so much by sharing the insights of their paths with me and generously opening doors. And my path grounds its circuit with the potent reflection from the mirrors I barely have the right to have called students at some point or another, such as Brian, Jake and Nadine.I’m always excited to keep deepening the path and looking forward for the next stage of my evolution, with new teachers and new friends to share the journey with.

About Qigong & Neigong

Qigong is an ancient art of cultivating life force, with roots in China stretching back thousands of years. Over time, these methods were influenced by neighboring traditions—most notably the yogic and meditative sciences of India—and refined across East Asia into the rich spectrum of practices we know today. At its heart, Qigong addresses a single, universal human condition: we are dispersed.
Our attention, emotions, energy, and vitality are scattered—fragmented between past and future, stress and desire, fear and distraction. Everything we perceive as “wrong” in our lives—whether physical discomfort, emotional turbulence, or a lack of purpose—can be traced back to this fragmentation.
The antidote is coherence: the ability to gather all that we are into one integrated whole. In practical terms, coherence is not an abstract idea—it is a tangible state where the body, mind, and breath align around a living center of gravity in the lower abdomen. From there, every fragment of our being is invited home, reintegrated into a unified field of presence.Qigong is the name we give to a family of somatic practices that make this integration real.
It begins with physical movements, breathwork, and standing postures that strengthen vitality, restore balance, and awaken the body’s innate healing capacity. This is the first phase—the work with the physical body—where we generate stability, health, and longevity.
Beyond this, the same principles deepen into Neigong, the “internal work.” Here, we refine the subtler currents of energy and awareness, exploring layers of the self that move far beyond the purely physical. At the far horizon of this path lies the Daoist vision of “Immortality”—a poetic way of describing a fully unified human being whose body, energy, and spirit operate as one seamless continuum.Whether your aim is simply to feel healthier and more *grounded+, or to walk the full arc of the internal arts, Qigong and Neigong offer a living, time-tested map to coherence—one breath, one movement, one moment at a time. The Qigong I share is for everyone—accessible, grounded, and attuned to each person’s natural rhythm and potential. As a lifelong polymath, I bring to each session a broad spectrum of insight—from somatic therapy and breathwork to music, philosophy, and energetic medicine. My teaching blends precision with play, discipline with intuition, offering not just movement—but transformation.

About MiamiQigong

At MiamiQigong, we gather to cultivate coherence, vitality, and a new way of living—one where everyone can thrive together.MiamiQigong was born from the desire to share directly and in person what I have cultivated over years of practice. There is no substitute for the depth and connection of in-person training, and I felt that both I and this beautiful city were ready to hold and nurture the frequency I wish to bring: a vision of a society where everyone thrives together—a win–win reality for all. A world where my success does not require another’s struggle, where our true value comes from the coherence of our signal, our highest excitement in life, and our service to others—rather than from senseless accumulation, status-seeking, or unconscious competition. My goal is to soon establish a dedicated indoor space we can call home—one that provides a stable base for holding and nourishing this frequency, and allows us to go deeper into ourselves without distraction. If you would like to host us at your studio or venue, I would love to hear from you.
